Minimus
The Minimus is a triathlon competition consisting of three disciplines - swimming, running and riding. Points are awarded for the results in each phase and the winner has the most points after the three phases.

Show jumping - intro text

Showjumping.
Show jumping will take place at working rallies as well as show jumping training sessions and the club participates in a number of Show Jumping events as follows: Junior Show Jumping (Robbie Bailey) Intermediate Show Jumping (John Ledingham) Members Show Jumping Senior Individual Each Area of the IPC runs an Area Qualifier to decide which branches will represent their Area at the championships. The teams placed first and second at the qualifier will go on to compete at the Chamionships.

Pony Club Tests

In the Shillelagh Pony Club, tests are usually held during the Summer. 

All Pony Club tests are optional but members are encouraged to progress through them during their time in the Pony Club. There is a minimum age at which each test may be taken. Your D.C., with advice from an instructor, will advise you when you have reached the standard for a particular test once you are the minimum age.

Test Cards detail the complete syllabus for each test and are available from your D.C. or secretary

When you pass a test, you get a signed certificate and a coloured disc to wear behind your Pony Club badge. There are different coloured certificates and discs for different tests.

Sequence of Tests

D Test > D+ Test > C Test > Road Safety Test > C+ Test > B Test > H test > B+ Test > A Test

Training for tests is generally provided by your branch for tests D to C+ and Rider & Road Safety. B test training is normally provided by your area and H, B+ and A training is provided at a national level.

The general requirements for each test are given below along with a link to the test syllabus. Suggested books and DVDs are also provided so that members can prepare for the tests.
